For me the remedy is to get the river flowing again to clear out the muck. This is a 2 step process. As Terry states, first realize you're stuck in the pond, or use the Serenity Prayer of wisely accepting your situation. The second step is when you proactively work to clear up the logjam and get the water flowing again per Covey's 1st highly effective habit. Then gradually you gather momentum to clear up the quagmire!
