Does the upcoming change of season get you excited or anxious? Seasonal change can be viewed as a happy event or one of dread. Seasonal change means preparation for new weather, events and activities. For me Autumn is my time of learning and creativity. Summer to me is my time of rest and rejuvenation. Winter is my celebration and reflection time. Spring brings me energy and excitement.
How do you view the seasonal changes?

Autumn for me is a time of anxiety and energy; maybe that anxiety has to do with the fact that school always started then. It seems like in fall everything comes alive with more energy due to the cooler weather; you're mentally more focused and alert. Plus my birthday is in October so that makes it my favorite season. Since I've been out of high school for over 40 years I've gotten over some of this anxiety, but it's still there like white noise. That's the only season I have strong feelings about, though in general I agree with Terry's assessment of the seasons. The seasons do effect our feelings and moods, especially if you're still working. In winter you leave and return home in the dark, but in summer there's so much more light of course. I think rain has gotten a bad rap; I love the wintry, blustry, rainy weather. It's very refreshing and invigorating, not only to you but all the plants, who rejoice in the luxury of abundant, life-giving moisture.
