Are You Real Today?

One of the many blogs I read had a post about being "real". By this they meant the "you" without the make-up or the fancy photo shopped face we put up on our blogs, Facebook, or utilize as our avatar.

Here is the real me today:

What this lesson taught me, and what I will convey to you is:

1) Appreciate the real you
2  Don't take yourself so seriously
3) It is OK to step outside of your comfort zone.

What "real" lessons have you learned lately?

I've learnt that there are lots of lovely women doing bloggers without make up. You are one of them - you look great.

I think this phenomena relates a little to the feeling inside that we are still young even though the mirror may betray otherwise. It's good to keep that little child inside happy. Terry's illustration reminds me of this radiant inner child that's always beautiful in spirit and the real you even though life may have beaten us up somewhat.
